Abstract
This article presents the research and development on theembedded control system for sorting and counting the coins, applicationfor the donation box, which can inform the coin counting datawirelessly. The purposes of these is for the convenience in coincounting, storage and also to protect asset from corruption andmisappropriation. The significant feature of proposed embedded systemhas introduced 8 - bit microcontroller "PIC16F877A" for processingand generating PWM signal to control the switching of II - BridgeDrive to drive the coin feeding and sorting - tray motor. The coin sortedwill be counted by infrared sensor controlled by microcontroller. Theresults will be displayed on LCD monitor on the box along withtransmitted via controller network for displaying on personal computer (PC) via wireless syslem by RS232 Wireless. In the test. the sortingmotor will be designated to vary speed in order to be consistent withprocessing speed of controller along with correct soning, accuratecounting and error- free.
