Abstract
Thailand imports dragon fruits approximately 10 milliontons per year that have the value of 200 million bathsfrom Vietnam. Cost of import process is consisted of 2sections. First, damaged cost of dragon fruits intransportation is about 10%, 20 million baths per year.Second, overhead cost in custom process and checkpointis about 10 million baths. Therefore the total cost isapproximately 30 million baths per year. This paperpresents a solution of cost and time reduction for thesupply chain of dragon fruits to increase businesscompetitive advantage by the quality packing caseimprovement, new arrangement of goods and routechanging in transportation decreasing checkpoint from 34stations to 28 stations or decreasing time approximately 3hours and 42 minutes. Their method can decrease loss ofbusiness about 14 million baths per year or 46.67% oftransportation value.
