Abstract
Thai society became alert to the problem of sexual harassment in the workplace for the first time in 1980 as a result of the campaign by woman's and human rights organization in Thailand. Until the year 1988, it was hard work campaigning about sexual harassment in the workplace for woman by the labor movement organization. The campaign led to the law on sexual harassment in the workplace under Section 16 of the Labour Protection Act B.E. 1998. Although legal provisions are reserved to the people who commit sexual harassment in the workplace is a given. But practically, making complaints against the offender is not easy, especially, if the sexual harassment in the workplace is performed by those who have power in the organization. The problem of finding a way to counter these individuals seems to be at a dead end. The problem of workplace sexual harassment in Thai society has still not achieved a solution, and is becoming increasingly severe and important an issue in society.
