Abstract
This paper proposes to incorporate His Majesty King Bhumipolûs philosophy ofSufficiency Economy into a new model for doing business as a logical approach to a sustainable and successful business endeavour. The concept of Sufficiency Economy was initially formulated for rural development, mainly in the agricultural sector; but it has gained currency and recognized as a valuablemodel applicable to individuals, groups, business firms, to countries and eveninternational communities.
