เพื่อทำการศึกษาในส่วนของการผลิตเริ่มต้นตั้งแต่กระบวนการวางแผนไปจนถึงขั้นตอนสุดท้าย คือสำเร็จเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ที่พร้อมส่งมอบให้แก่ลูกค้า ค้นหาสาเหตุของการเกิดของเสียในกระบวนการผลิต รวมทั้งความสูญเปล่าที่เกิดขึ้นในการดำเนินงาน และหาแนวทางในการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการผลิต และลดปริมาณของเสีนในกระบวนการผลิต
