This paper aims to study the results of integrating extra-curricula activities related toThai art and culture with teaching of “Thai society and culture” course to Chinesestudents. The primary data is based on observing and interviewing learners, guestinstructors, and those participating in the activities. The other sources of data derivefrom the course and activity evaluations by the organizing team, instructors andlearners, as well as results of quizzes and a final examination. The findings reveal thatthe objectives of integrating extra-curricular activities related to culture with classroomactivities in teaching this course are successful. All learners directly experienced Thaiart and culture in real situations, and thus they could relate to their experiences bothwithin the course and with other courses. This resulted positively to produce learnerachievements and instructors success. Additionally, academic and social institutionsalso benefit from human and career development as well as providing the groundworkfor a learning-based society.
