Abstract
Currently, almost all Ceramic Industry management in Thailand is inefficient, whichleads to less competitiveness in foreign markets, especially in terms of systematicmanagement. Thus, the main objective of this study is to develop a managementsystem using the 7-S’s Mc Kinsey model as a tool to create greater efficiency andstrategic planning of their own and a clear organizational structure, since most arefamily style businesses driven by the values of the family system. Furthermore, thelabor mostly has only a high school level education. At the same time, thecharacteristics of the organizations are different, depending on their expertise, such aswhether or not they use just local wisdom. Therefore, using the 7-S’s Mc Kinseymodel will enable them to improve their internal administration, such as establishingnew strategy and direction, designing a new organizational structure, improvingworkflow as well as creating job descriptions. The managing director should develop amanagement team consisting of employees, an advisor from an external organizationand also include government officers. Moreover, management should improve thehuman resources competency in their particular field as well as well indoctrinate themwith a shared value system and philosophy, and thereby enhance its owncompetitiveness in the world market.
