Abstract
Nowadays, the concept of modeling the supply chainrepresents an important revolution and new approach tothe development and evaluation of the complex supplychain systems. The proposed conceptual modeling approach especiallytailored for describing the most important and activesupply chain business processes and activities; it providesa systematic approach for generating executable modeldefinitions from high-level modeling design. Thatcaptures effectively the complexity of the supply chainthrough depicting the internal supply chain businessprocesses and activities structure, relationships, conversations, and commitments. Those provide startingpoint for developing the details of the supply chainmodels and implementations to satisfy the multipleobjectives and requirements.
