Abstract
Decision making in logistics, transport planning andmarketing requires access to a wider range of informationthan has been traditionally used. This requirementrepresents one of the practical limitations of the traditional process that Geographical Information Systems (GIS) can address. The purpose of this study is to describealternative strategies for planning support system of thetraveling salesman problems. In case study of lubricantoil sector, the use of GIS tools and techniques is todetermine the shortest paths between points and set thepath of multiple points in the optimum sequence withvehicle reschedule in Khonkhan Province, Thailand. Theoutcome from this study is to demonstrate that vehiclerouting planning has a maximum benefit considering as acost-effectiveness of fuel consumption reduction about4.9% per month.
