Assistant Professor Dr. Pitchaon Maisuthisakul is Dean of School of Science and Technology, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Thailand. She graduated Ph.D in Product Development from Kasetsart University in Thailand under RGJ fund joint with University of Reading in UK. She was selected people for Who's Who in the World in 2011. She was registered as GMP, HACCP and ISO22000 including educational quality assurance (MUA registered) auditors in Thailand. She has been selected as executive director of the Science Society of Thailand under the Royal Patronage since 2011. She had been awarded 3 national honors, 14 academy awards and 2 international awards. She contributed for 76 international publications. She contributed as reviewer for many publishers such as Elsevier, Wiley, Springer Science and Business Media, Informa and Oxford University Press. Moreover, she was chairman and co-chairman for many conferences such as the 5th Asia-Pacific Clinical Nutrition Society in China, the 8th International Union of Nutrition Science in China. She had ever been a food safety specialist or consultant for more than 40 factories in Thailand. Her expertise is plant phenolic compounds and sensory analysis including product development especially in health product including biological activity such as antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammation capacity of plant extract. Moreover, she has been selected as an honorary academic scholar in the 50 years of King Mongkut's University of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) and recorded her history at the Hall of Frame.
