    Factors Affecting Financial Performance of Agricultural Firms Listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange

    The research aims to examine the effect of liquidity, asset utilization, leverage,economic prosperity and agricultural products price index on financial performance of agricultural firms listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) from 2006 until 2010. Due to the non-stationary series data and multicolliearity problem that may result in a spurious regressions, the Unit-Root test was used to check the stationary qualification and Multicollinearity test was used to check the multicollinearity problem before the regression results. The research found that the factors that effect on financial performance of agricultural firms listed on SSE are asset utilization, leverage and agricultural products price index.
