Abstract: This paper presents the research and development onthe embedded system for three-phase solar motor pump with theVolts/Hertz (V/F) maximum power point tracking technique(MPPT) which significantly simplifies the software designcomplexity for PWM three-phase motor drive inverter. Thesoftware of the control system and MPPT is designed by usingthe microcontroller to generate the command signals forMC3PHAC chip. The experimental results show that themaximum power adjusted by the proposed system on thevariation of the sunlight intensity is very close to that of thereference system. We also show the characteristics of themaximum power point tracking of the PV Array. Our design ofthis system can be applied and developed on many otherpurposes. In addition, by using our proposed software design, theimplementation is simple and inexpensive.
