Abstract
The study of factors affecting the percentage change change in stock prices of listed companies on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in the Health Sector used monthly data from 2004 to 2010. The sample, firms including Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (BGH), Bumrungrad Hospital Public Company Limited (BH) and Bangkok Chain Hospital Company Limited (KH), are listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand and are used to calculate SET100 Index for the period of July 1 to December 31, 2010. The independent variables are the percentage change in interbank interest rate (INT), the percentage change in private investment index (PII), the percentage change in the trade volume of foreign investors (FTR), the percentage change in consumer price index in treatment and the personal service sector (CPI) and the percentage change in SET Index (SET). The multiple regression results show that only the percentage change in SET index affects the percentage change in the stock price of listed companies on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in the Health Sector.
