Abstract
The logistics costs comprise four important parts: transportation costs, inventorycarrying costs, warehousing costs and administration costs. However, Thailand has notcalculated the Input-Output Table in terms of logistics. An analysis of the coststructure of logistics for the economic sectors of Thailand, particularly the upstreamand the downstream industries, are limited. This research project therefore constructsan Input-Output Table for logistics in Thailand with 89 x 89 economic sectors for2006, as well as the classification of logistics activity in 25 sectors. In addition, thepaper shows the impact of volatilization of diesel and Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG)prices on the Thai logistics costs.
