- PublicationA Comparative Study of Rock FormationsComposed of Rock Salt and Potash Layersbetween Thailand and Lao PDR(Chulalongkorn University Printing House, 2011)
; University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. Journal Editorial OfficeA comparison of the rock formation composed of rock salt and potash layers betweenThailand and Lao PDR determines the relationships of each layer found in bothcountries. The result of rock salt and potash formations could be correlated as thesame stratigraphy. They formed in the Cretaceous Period, or about 100 million yearsago. These rocks and minerals are deposited mostly in Thailand, but extend to LaoPDR in two portions. One is from Nong Khai Province in Thailand to VientianeProvince in Lao PDR. Another is from Nakhon Phanom Province in Thailand toThakhek City, Khammouan Province in Lao PDR.9 137 - PublicationA Study of the Effect of the ChangingCoastal Ecosystem on the Lives of People Inthe Moo 9 Community, Bann Khun SamutChin, Tambon Laem Fapha, Amphoe PhraSamut Chedit, Samut Prakran Province(Chulalongkorn University Printing House, 2010)

; University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. Journal Editorial OfficeGreen productivity is an integration of ecology and productivity principles. Theobjective is to protect and reduce effects on the environment by enhancingprofitability through increased productivity and efficiency, and from reducing cost through operational improvement. With technology, staff and management approaches using tools and techniques, new ideas, innovations and competitive advantages are created as well as a good image from the data disclosure in order to express social responsibility, which are the guidelines of a balanced and sustainable development: economically, socially and environmentally. According to surveys in Thailand, listed companies have disclosed very few social responsibility data and such disclosures are in the annual report, while some companies make the sustainability report an addition to its annual report. If there is a regulation from the corporate governance unit to enforce each listed company on such disclosure and the report, these companies will disclose and make a report for all stakeholders to raise more awareness of the social responsibility obligation of the company.6 20 - PublicationImplementation of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of Environmental Management in the Manufacturing Industry(Chulalongkorn University Printing House, 2012)
; University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. Journal Editorial OfficeThis study was aimed at investigating the implementation of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of Environment Management in the manufacturing industry and their related factors. A questionnaire was used for 400 manufacturing industries from November 2010 to February 2011. Descriptive statistics, that is means and percentages and inferential statistics, as well as test hypothesis by Chi-square at .05 significance level were used. The results showed that 76.2% of the manufacturing industries studied have a policy of environmental management, although water and garbage pollution were found to be significant. Most of them are highly aware of environmental management. Their perception of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy was learned mostly from television. In addition, more than half of them, or 60.2%, have a high level of knowledge and understanding of the Philosophy and 44.8% of them have a good attitude toward the Philosophy. The results also showed that key success factors for implementing the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in environmental management were the vision and policy at the management level, knowledge and understanding of the Philosophy in environmental management and participation of staff, belief in the philosophy, including providing support by involving units and monitoring and assessing by their implementation of the philosophy. A total of 60.2% of them demonstrated interested by their implementation of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in environmental management. The results of hypothesis testing showed that factors relating to the implementation of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in environmental management in the manufacturing industry depended on the size of the industry, environmental management policy, receiving of information, attitude towards the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and participation in activities implementing the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.13 17 - PublicationThe Prevention of Deterioration andNatural Resources andEnvironmental Conservation ofAmphawa Floating Market(Chulalongkorn University Printing House, 2009)

; University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. Journal Editorial OfficeRisk possibility studies of potash mining in Thailand become necessary because potash will soon be widely mined in Northeast Thailand. This paper reviews previous comparative documents to learn the former risk impacts from potash mining in many other places of the world, such as Carlsbad in New Mexico State, USA, Saskatoon, in Saskatchewan Canada and many places in Europe, such as Germany, Poland, Ukraine and Russia, where the potash mines were first operated more than a hundred years ago. The reason for this comparative study is that the exploitation of potash resource in Thailand is in the initial stage following the Department of Mineral Resources revelation of a huge and good reserve of potash deposits and the publication of the details in 1973. There are many types of potash mining, but one of the most popular operations is an underground mine that differs from a tunnel mine. Normally, the underground potash is more likely to be developed as a mine since the potash minerals usually occur as layers underneath the plain of a basin. The underground mine can be more advantageous than solution mining because the operations can be controlled by humans. Although the underground mine seems to be an appropriate method for the potash minerals, some risks or hazards remain and the environmental impacts are little known. The hazards from potash mining in this world may occur from flooding in the underground mine, explosions from gases in the potash minerals or intrusion of igneous rocks in the potash strata or an earthquake collapses the mine. These phenomena may occur this time in Thailand if insufficient attention is paid to the possible risks by appropriate individuals or organizations. The best practice knowledge of risk and prevention should therefore be applied and executed.26 40
